FarmRaiser connects farmers and food artisans to student-led fundraisers, turning energetic students into healthy-eating advocates that sell locally-grown and -made products. Our kids, our schools and our communities need an alternative to the typical product fundraisers that have our kids pushing wrapping paper, candy bars, cookie dough and other preservative-filled or high-priced, low-value products each year.

This mobile app is exclusively for student champions that have signed up to take part in fundraising campaigns supported by FarmRaiser. The App gives students important information on the health benefits of the products they are selling, background on the farmers and food artisans that are providing products for the campaign and ability to take orders and donations from their mobile devices.

We believe the way to sustainably strengthen our schools and communities is by embracing local food systems and the farmers, artisans and businesses that make these economies thrive. By giving student the tools to advocate for healthy eating and food selection and allowing them to sell wholesome, locally-grown and-made products, FarmRaiser is restoring value and purpose to an annual ritual that has lost its way in a sea of sugar and junk food.

FarmRaiser uses technology and old-fashioned community organizing to power student-led fundraising around products from local farmers and artisans. Our technology platform enables students, farmers and artisans to share their stories and the benefits of healthy nutrition and strengthen the social capital that makes school fundraisers work.
