First Words Checklist: Teacher Edition

This is the Teacher edition of "First Words Checklist." The content is identical to that of the regular edition, with the exception of the Teacher Dashboard, which enables administrators to see assessment progress across all students.

First Words Checklist is an informal assessment for toddlers with no advertising. The app assesses your child’s knowledge of over 100+ common words in important categories like food, clothing, and household items. Teachers can use the assessment results to pinpoint areas of strength and weakness in a child’s vocabulary.

Developed by cognitive scientists, the app is ideal for parents, speech therapists, teachers and homeschoolers who want to better understand a young child’s speech and language development. The digital assessment is specially designed for 2-3 year olds. Compared to a traditional paper assessment, it is both more engaging for a child and less onerous to administer for a parent.
