About Ice Lakes
Ice Lakesはサンドボックスで冬季の釣りが楽しめる究極の氷上釣りゲームです。珍しい魚に美麗なグラフィック、本物志向の物理計算に魚の行動システム、幅広く取りそろえた釣り道具、舞台となるのは世界中にある数多くの釣り場、魚の動きに影響を与える季節の移り変わりと時間の概念そして天候。Ice Lakesは多くの要素を詰め込んだ、究極の氷上釣りシミュレーターです。このゲームを独自の釣りゲームたらしめているのは、フィッシュファイト、世界中の釣り場と生息する魚たちです。これらの要素は他の氷上釣りゲームにはありません！

プレイヤーは世界各地にある様々な環境に囲まれた川や湖を舞台とした、美しいオープンワールドを歩き回ることができます。釣り人が今までに足を踏み入れたこともないような場所や、最大級の魚を釣れる自然あふれる場所へ、果敢に挑んでいきましょう。
水面下の様子や水底を把握して一番釣れそうな場所はどこだろう、と探すのは醍醐味でもありますが、我慢強さが要求されることでもあります。各釣り場で魚が釣れそうな場所のあたりをつける、大きい魚が釣れそうな場所を予測する。これらをしないと何も釣れない、なんてことも。
釣り糸を垂らして釣りを始めてからはお待ちかね！釣りを始める場所を探すのと同様に、それぞれの環境で正しい道具を使用することもまた重要です。おおよそ30種もいる魚たちの行動AIや群れを作るシステムが、本物の釣り体験を生み出します。用意されている釣り道具はジグ、ロッド、アイスドリル、エサなど。季節ごとの魚種に対して正しい釣り道具を選ぶことが求められますが、特に気を使うべきは天候と時間帯。そして適切な水深でロッドやジグをコントロールすることもIce Lakesでは腕の見せ所。ロッドとジグに動きをつければ、魚たちも本物さながらの反応を示してくれます。
時間や相手に縛られずに釣りを一人で楽しむことで、リラックスしたゲームプレイと快適な空間で釣りの腕前を上達させることができます。その一方で、長期にわたるトーナメントや各種設定を行える対戦モードでは、プレイヤーの腕前と知識が問われます。ですが新たな装備品や名声が勝利の先に待っています。
今後の開発予定
Ice Lakesリリース後も開発を継続、コミュニティの希望に沿った変更を行う予定です。そして釣り場、ゲームモード、魚種、装備品、これらの追加をフリーコンテンツとしてアップデートを行います。

Battle Royale is a new exciting game mode. In Battle royale the player must stay inside the eye of the constantly moving storm and try to catch as many fish as possible within the time limit. All of the competition types and maps are also playable in the battle royale mode. The mode can be activated from the map selection just below the fish fight checkbox.
Completely reworked character customization is now live. Check the updated Player menu and try the new system with dozens of new items. Over 30 hats, almost 20 characters and 23 color variations makes it possible to create literally thousands of unique outfits. In addition, there is a completely new selection available in the Player menu, which is called Charms. There you can choose one of the new lucky charms or other decorations that will appear beside a fishing hole.
The minimap now follows the movement and turns with the player, which makes it much easier to navigate in the game.

This update introduces two new maps called Tammerkoski Rapids and Lake Näsijärvi. For the first time in our game the maps are based on the real life location. These maps are located in a completely new urban environment in the heart of lakeland Finland in the city of Tampere.

More incredible content. Two new exotic maps that will take you into a sunny paradise islands and into a polar ice fields to experience the ice fishing in completely new way. Barracuda is the new fish species introduced in this update. It is the biggest fish you can catch in the game and a real beast that can be only caught from these new maps. The last big addition in this update is the option to go fishing at night! Night mode can be considered a hard difficulty mode, because catching fish is harder than during other times of the day. However, some species are more active during night-time and are easier to catch only then.
