MAJOR RULES IN THE CRYPTO WORLD
1. Backup your mnemonic seed phrase and keep it in a safe place. NOT in the notes app, NOT in an email. When you keep it in a safe place, you are the only owner of your assets. If you lose your phone, it breaks down, or you accidentally log out of the wallet, then the only way to restore access is your mnemonic.
2. Pay maximum attention while sending crypto to another address or while exchanging crypto-to-crypto. Be sure that this address accepts precisely the crypto you want to send.
3. Wait a minimum 6-block confirmation to be sure that the transaction is complete.
4. Carefully use custom fees. It is better to use the recommended fee rate.
5. Please note that the transaction process can take up to 10 minutes.
6. There is no way to cancel crypto transactions.
7. For ERC-20 tokens, you need Ethereum in your balance.
8. If you prefer the Web version of a wallet, please follow the correct link. Pay attention to avoid phishing websites.
9. The lower the fee, the longer the transaction confirmation will take. Moreover, it can be stuck for several days, especially when the network is overloaded.
10. Please be careful of scammers. Lumi Wallet will never ask for your mnemonic, personal information, or other financial data. Our team will never dm you on social media.
11. The purchase transaction’s commission depends on the amount of the purchase, but is no less than $10. The higher the purchase, the lower the fees, and the more profitable your transaction will be.
12. Sometimes, due to network overload, the commission could rise, and the fees to send crypto could be very high. We have no control over this. In such cases, we recommend waiting until the network recovers to normal operation.
