Family-owned. Estate-grown. Rocky Pond Winery has been making award-winning wines since 2013.
Warmed by the eastern Washington sun and cooled by the waters of Lake Chelan and the Columbia River, our two vineyards are ideally situated to produce top-quality grapes. Owner David Dufenhorst explains, “The glacial till soil of our Clos Cheval vineyard, and the tumbled granite soil in Double D vineyard, create a unique terroir for our vines.”
With his wife Michelle, David has brought Rocky Pond from impossible dream to award-winning reality.
“As growers, you get excited about soil composition and water supply. With Rocky Pond Winery, the potential of the land makes you more passionate about your own wines.”
Their goal is to consistently produce award-winning wines for everyone to enjoy and share. As co-owner Michelle Dufenhorst says, “wine is meant to be celebrated with family and friends.”
