SyncKontrol for monotribeは、本格ハードウェア・アナログ・シンセサイザーmonotribeの機能を拡張するiPhoneアプリケーションです。BPM、タップ・テンポ、スウィング、ワイヤレス同期WISTを提供、monotribeの実用性が向上します。

SyncKontrol for monotribeは、iPhoneのステレオ・ヘッドホン・ミニジャックからmonotribeのSync inにシンク信号を送ることで、monotribeのテンポ設定機能を拡張します。テンポの設定は、ダイヤルを回して数値により入力する「テンポの数値設定」、叩いたビートからテンポを計算する「タップ・テンポ機能」の2タイプが可能。さらにビートにグルーヴ感を与える「スウィング設定」を備え、シーケンサーを備える他の電子楽器と一緒に使う際に便利です。

これらの機能の中で最も特長的なWISTは、monotribeとKORGのiPadアプリケーション(iELECTRIBE、iMS-20など)とのワイヤレス同期再生を実現します。またWireless LAN経由でMIDIクロックと再生/停止を受信する機能※も備えMac上のDAWとの同期再生も可能です。

monotribeはKORG往年の名機MS-20の回路を備える本格アナログ・シンセサイザーと、KORGの定番グルーブ・マシンELECTRIBE譲りのステップ・シーケンサーが融合したハードウェア・シンセサイザーです。所有感のあるアルミ・ダイキャスト筐体と使いやすいノブ/ボタン/リボンによる操作により直感的なトラック・メイクが可能。電池駆動、内蔵スピーカーにより、どこでも使える気軽さを実現しました。
