The K+S Urban Farming App is to provide the most complete solution combined with a slick design and extreme simplicity to use the app. By putting potential shoppers closer to where their food comes from, we believe it will instill a much stronger sense of community and respect for what they put into their bodies - all triggered by a unique discovery and shopping experience we eventually intend to achieve. Not only addressing the environmental issues but also hoping to change the shopping experience by creating an emotional tie to our food. Compared to existing forums and Google Search the K+S Urban Farming App provides curated and aggregated information as well as services that will add real value. In a nutshell it brings together - information / tutorials / regional food search / community (rating and validating). The App is the first step to achieve the overall goal of a platform. The vision is to design and to improve local access to locally grown fresh produce, promote a sustainable food system while creating an unforgettable shopping experience.
