Thanks to user feedback. We have fixed important usability bugs in this release.

Fixed important usability issues reported by customer. The suggestions bar is now fully scrollable. Also added an option to remove the AppLink from the shared text.

Bug fixes.

Thanks to users' enhancement requests and feedback - we hear you. Added accessibility and usability enhancements to the application. Improved network performance. Improvements to usability to allow editing past notes created using the application.

Fixed bugs related to conversion of text in the middle of the paragraph. Also added an automated way to select the option for better ease of use.

Customers reported an issue in the earlier version when network status changes. This was due to poor handling of error in network connectivity. Many other bugfixes and upgrade to work with later version of iOS. Simplified the UI to be more inline with guidelines.

Updated to latest iOS and it now has better social sharing options. Fixed a major issue with broken conversion of the language.

Fixed some major bugs and enhanced UI for selection of long words. Thanks to all who sent valuable feedback and bug reports. We are always working to make this application better for you.

Bug fix release

Thanks to wonderful feedback from all Kannada speaking folks, we have redesigned this application from ground up to achieve: very simple, intuitive and effective interface; faster and better algorithm for conversion from English to Kannada, better integration with Social Networking sites and designed for latest iOS 6.0

Your favorite Kannada Editor is now a first class iPad application in addition to working in iPhone. It leverages the full real estate available on iPad, now you can write a longer and multi-para note or email in Kannada.

Also fixed few bugs reported by customers in offline mode keyboard mapping - which works when internet connection is not available on your device.

A major update with following improvements:

1. The original translation algorithm based on key mappings is back - as requested by many, many users. Go to Help>Options screen and disable the Online mode and the UI will switch to the classic mode and stays there. Thank you for your feedback.

2. A new feature - now you can SMS the text you entered in Kannada.

3. A revamp of the UI for better usability

4. A major improvement in error handling to detect network issues.

A major revision to the translation algorithm to translate free-flowing Kannada words typed in English. You no longer need to remember the key mappings. Rest of the functionality of sharing on Facebook, Twitter, Mail or copying to other applications remain unchanged.

The Facebook, Twitter and Mail integration is now production quality. Also added auto-correction foundation to automatically correct most frequently used words.

Now you can share Kannada text you create using this application directly on Facebook, Twitter, Email or your favorite iPhone application with a click of a button.

One of the major user reported issue for version 1.1 was that once the text is transliterated from English to Kannada there is no way to correct it by navigating to a specific word in the middle. This caused a lot of grief for users and many of them wrote mails to me.

We restructured the UI a little to let the English text editable. If the user chooses to correct a Kannada word in the transliterated text, he/she can navigate to the corresponding English word and make the change in the editor - that change will show up instantly in the transliterated text in Kannada.
