第24屆流行音樂金曲獎頒獎典禮於7月6日(六)晚間7時於臺北小巨蛋舉行，由東風電視台製作，將打造出巨星級演唱會規模之頒獎典禮節目，精彩可期。

電視轉播方面，由三立都會台Live首播，再依序由東風及MTV頻道接力總計29小時輪播，網路平台則於Youtube全程直播，官網與行動App開發由財團法人資訊工業策進會創新服務研究所，AppCross擔任技術支援。今年以「MUSIC iPAY」作為主題，希望大家能一起用行動來支持音樂創作者，落實「我聽音樂，我付費」的概念，讓臺灣音樂創作的能量生生不息。
