About Almost Transparent Blue
The second e-book release by Ryu Murakami!
The origin of the novelist “Ryu Murakami” is coming back now after 35 years since his debut.
The debut novel by Ryu Murakami in 1976, "Almost Transparent Blue" won "Gunzou New Literary Award" and "Akutagawa Prize" when he was 24.
The story portrays the self-destructive, lost group of young men and women who reside in “Fussa”, a region in Tokyo with an US Air Force base. Its devastating episode and edgy style of writing had a great impact on the then-literary world. The novel has been translated into many languages and widely read by many youth of the world even after 35 years since published. Now it is available as e-book with the same intensity of the first publication.
In addition to high readability, this application includes the exclusive unpublished handwritten manuscripts by the author from when it was published, as well as 16 portrait photos of him at the award ceremony.
