The AVL International Commercial Powertrain Conference is a globally unique multi-day automotive conference in Graz, Austria. The automotive event focuses on trucks and buses, agricultural tractors and construction equipment. The international powertrain conference 2019 is an AVL event dedicated entirely to the challenges faced by the global commercial vehicle industry. Special guest Matthias Horx, known for his research on future developments in technology and society, will give the keynote on the topic, ‘Roadmap to drive the future – powertrain diversification’. Overall, the three-day event will seek to answer the question, ‘How will emission legislation and the trend for electrification and digitalization affect the powertrain of the future?’
