About Beter Afrikaans
Beter Afrikaans is 'n gratis app en webdiens (www.beterafrikaans.co.za) wat leerders en ander gebruikers van Afrikaans help om beter te leer skryf en spel. Die doel van Beter Afrikaans is om op 'n speelse en bondige manier die spel- en skryfreëls van Afrikaans aan gebruikers aan te bied.
Die teikengroep is enigeen vanaf 10 jaar oud tot volwassenes. Aangesien die vrae op drie moeilikheidsvlakke ingedeel is, kan elkeen bepaal op watter vlak hy/sy wil deelneem.
Die app en webdiens is heeltemal gratis. Gebruikers moet wel registreer ten einde hulle individuele puntestande te bewaar.
Hoe werk dit?
1. As jy geregistreer het, kan jy kies om elke dag 'n e-pos te kry wat jou herinner aan die toets.
2. Om die speltoets te voltooi neem minder as twee minute op die rekenaar, selfoon of tablet: jy kry vier veelkeusevrae en kry dan onmiddellik 'n kort uitleg oor die korrekte antwoord.
3. As jy meer wil leer, is daar meer omvattende (maar eenvoudige) verduidelikings (skryf- en spelreëls) op die webwerf beskikbaar.
4. Jy kan ook kies op watter moeilikheidsvlak jy wil deelneem: maklik (tipies laerskool), gemiddeld (tipies hoërskool) of moeilik (meer gevorderde gebruikers).
