About Circular Motion Calculator
The Circular Motion Calculator calculates the speed based on input radius and frequency parameters of a uniform circular motion in physics.
Formulas for uniform circular motion are provided below the calculator for each calculation case:
v = ω r
Where:
- v is the speed,
- ω is the frequency in radians per second,
- r is the radius.
Note: The radius is half the diameter of the circle.
In physics, circular motion refers to the movement of an object along the circumference of a circle or rotation along a circular path. It can be uniform, with a constant angular rate of rotation and constant speed, or non-uniform with a changing rate of rotation.
