System Updates and Enhancements 2019

• New Dashboard Reporting: the long-awaited enhancement to the DLA dashboard is here. It provides an additional detailed month-by-month view of your DLA captured interactions with comparisons to the District, Market and National levels.

• Badge Notifications: this is an iOS feature that can be enabled on an app-by-app basis to notify you when there are incomplete or pending records on your device. The notification will appear as a red circle on the app icon on the device’s home screen with a numerical value inside the circle. The feature can be enabled in your device’s Settings. This feature will help you close out the records promptly on your device so the data can be pushed off the device and to your CRM quickly.

• Customer data items and survey question flexibility: this is a substantial enhancement to the DLA system by providing you the ability to toggle on or off select customer data items and survey questions for each of the three apps. Additionally, if you decide to display a certain optional item on the app, you have the ability to make it a required or optional item for the customer to complete before proceeding in the process flow.

• H-D Event Card recognition: The Harley-Davidson Motor Company version of this system issues a plastic card that resembles a credit card or rewards program card from other merchants. It contains a bar code that associates to a specific customer when the card is activated at an event. Customers often carry these cards with them. If you are presented with one of these cards, you have the ability to scan it which will recognize that customer and populate some of the customer data on the DLA app screen. For test rides, you will still want the customer to present their actual driver’s license to validate that it is still current and valid. Examples of the cards can be found in the User Guides.

• External API: this new resource is available for dealers who use other third-party software tools to manage their business. It provides the ability for DLA-captured leads to automatically push to those systems if enabled. If you require connection with a third-party software system, you would provide the API technical information to that provider. It may require some development work on their end in order to align with the technical specifications provided. Management of the external API keys is done in the DLA Admin Portal and gives you the ability to issue keys and revoke them as you need. This gives you the ultimate flexibility to leverage the power of the Dealer Lead App system for your business.
