About E6B Pro
E6B Pro is a professionally designed application not only for the student pilot, but for the seasoned pilot as well. The functions use real formulas - not just rules of thumb.
Don't be fooled by a lot of the other "e6b calculators" that are missing some of the most important features that are needed to plan your flight and often contain gross calculation errors. E6B Pro includes over 27 functions/calculations. It has been used to plan countless flights from start to finish and has been throughly tested by real pilots in real airplanes.
We focus on the user experience while ensuring the calculations are accurate. E6B Pro rivals any of the expensive "E6B Calculator" you see in the pilot magazines.
E6B Pro supports unit conversion directly inside the calculations. For an example - if you have an airspeed indicator that uses MPH but you prefer to plan your flight in nautical miles you can input speed as MPH and distance as NM. This is just one of the many ways we've designed this with the best user experience in mind.
If you can do the calculation on a slide-rule E6B you can do it inside this application. If you find that a feature is missing that you'd like to have simply contact us and we'll likely add it in the next release.
