Forfeit Football

Watching live football with your mates will never be the same. Forfeit Football is a great new game to play at the ground, in the pub or at home, based on how poker is played. The twist is the cards dealt are replaced with the events in the game of football. Every event carries a Forfeit, a monetary fine that you agree on before the game starts. (So, corners are 20p, throw-ins are 10p etc). You also agree on the payouts – Half Time, Full Time and every Goal that is scored.

Each player commits to putting in an initial stake, and you see yourself sitting around the table. One of you has the ‘pot’. As the game progresses and events take place then the pot in the middle of the table gets bigger as it’s passed round the table. You want to be holding the pot when a Goal is scored and you DON’T want it if a red card is shown, as that might carry a Forfeit of £2!. So simple – invite a group to play, agree the Forfiets and watch the game with your pals.

At the end of the game, and the final payout of Full-time, some will be up, and some will be down.
