Welcome to Freezr 2.0!

9 months in the making, version 2.0 is Freezr's biggest update ever, with lots of new features and refinements to make it easier and more enjoyable to organise your fridge or freezer directly on your iPhone or iPad. The main new features of this version are as follows:

iPad support:
• Freezr 2.0 includes an iPad version of the app.
• UI changes have been made to make the app look great on every size of iPad.

A redesigned user interface:
• Introducing a beautiful new app icon.
• Added a launch screen featuring the new icon.
• Changed the font colour used throughout the app to match the new icon.
• Redesigned the UI and controls in the fridge, freezer and shopping list sections of the app.
• Changed the default icon when adding a new item to the shopping list without an image.

Performance and optimisation:
• iOS 12 support.
• Massively improved support for iPhone 5/5s/SE.
• Freezr now takes up about 30% less space on your device.

New additions:
• Added a button for quick access to my website in Settings > Support.
• Added a privacy policy page.
• Lots of other small changes, such as the awesome new ice lolly dude in Settings > About Freezr.

• You can now add food to your fridge or freezer without adding an image of the item.
• You can now see when an item was added to the fridge or freezer - this is useful for food with no specific expiry date, such as homegrown items.

• You can now manually add items to your shopping list regardless of whether or not the item is in your fridge or freezer beforehand.
• Fixes a major bug which would sometimes result in an expiry notification being received even after the item had been deleted.
• Fixes a bug which would cause UI elements to appear partially off-screen.

• Settings can now be accessed from every major page in the app.
• Changes the default notification settings when the app launches for the first time.
• Improves how user notification settings are displayed.

Thank you so much for all of your feedback and feature requests! I am currently working on a major update to Freezr and will be implementing lots of exciting new features. Until then, here's a smaller update to keep the app fresh and bug-free whilst I continue to work on the big one.
