You have to compare two samples: one is the pure linear signal, the other is the the loudspeaker output with enhanced or attenuated distortion. We don't tell you which sample is the distorted one - click "Sample A" or "Sample B" to play them, then make your choice.

It is easy at the beginning - we start with strongly enhanced distortion. If you recognize the distorted sample correctly, we'll make it harder. If you are wrong, we'll go back a few steps. How far can you go down?
