The Mind & Life Institute convenes ISCS every two years to continue its work establishing the new interdisciplinary field of contemplative studies. ISCS brings together the community of university faculty, researchers, students, artists and contemplative practitioners who share the goal of understanding the power of the mind through science.
ISCS offers master lectures, panel discussions, poster sessions and contemplative practice, exploring basic and applied science, scholarship, education, the arts and contemplative traditions such as meditation.
