Kathy Rain: Director's Cut

- The 'X' (close) button on the notebook should no longer be barely visible
- Fixed the iPhone X home button appearing every time the screen is tapped

• Implemented support for Simplified Chinese
• Made sure the notebook can no longer rarely disappear after a certain conversation, resulting in a potential soft lock
• Resolved a few Russian and German translation issues related to the audio analysis
• The wrong dorm room number should no longer be recognized by the computer for Kathy and Eileen's room
• Took care of a slight visual glitch related to notebook entries being erased when not playing in English
• A certain character portrait with a blank stare should now have a consistent display time in all languages
• Re-added missing Croatian symbols in the credits to properly display the names of all contributors
• It is no longer possible to interact with the computer in the dorm room on day 3 using the floppy

Added Russian language support
Fixed a rare soft lock related to picking up the envelope on the floor and spam skipping
Resolved some fade issues related to skipping in the final forest scenes
Kathy should no longer sometimes give an invalid denial message when combining tapes with the dictaphone
When leaving the computer, the virtual keyboard now properly fades out
A certain door can no longer be lockpicked more than once
Various small translation tweaks and improvements

Engine:

Updated our Unity version to 2019.4.31f to improve overall compatibility, stability and performance

Gameplay and UI:

Fixed a soft lock if the player picks up the flower and shovel in the nature reserve on day 3 but ignores the drawing
Dragging a tape onto the dictaphone now won't result in an an occassional invalid denial message by Kathy
The postcard is now blocked from being examined during an action sequence to prevent various glitches
Fixed some odd game states related to saving and loading when viewing the postcard
Optimized the sequence with the falling rocks to significantly improve the framerate
Background subtitles in the jail now always fit within the camera when playing in narrow aspect ratios
A character should no longer appear off screen when entering the jail in narrow aspect ratios
Beau now properly turns to the right to face Kathy during their final conversation
Fixed a glitched dictaphone UI state after some tapes were removed during the transition between days 2 and 3
The notebook should no longer show an odd transition involving the phone numbers when adding a regular note on a few occasions
Achievement unlock popups should now properly appear on the screen
Tapping above the virtual keyboard now closes it

Audio:

Lowered the super loud initial volume for the ambient gear sounds when entering a late game scene
The music in the sheriff's station should now properly reset when re-entering the scene

Localization:

Various translation fixes and improvements for German, French and Spanish

Fixed some voice overs (most notably Eileen's) not playing on systems with certain language settings.

• Optimized scene loading to reduce the choppiness of screen fades
• Added an achievements link in the main menu
• UI popups in the image analyzer should now correctly disable other controls
• Fixed various small visual glitches related to saves and the image analyzer
• Resolved a slight visual hickup when turning off the computer
• Made various small UI alignment tweaks in the options
• Handled some UI problems related to saving when the numpad and poem are visible
• Clyde's shadow will no longer glitch out as he is entering the room
• The bike dismounting in Conwell Woods should no longer have a momentary glitch
• Kathy should now look the correct size when she wakes up in her bed on later days
• Fixed various instances where Kathy could glitch walk on top of objects
• Kathy's shadow should no longer disappear at one point in the Sheriff's Station
• Resolved some rendering order issues in the forest area
• Tweaked a few exit triggers that were a bit too sensitive
• Balanced one of the end game encounters to be a bit more forgiving
• The inventory now won't close for no good reason when closing the dictaphone
• Tapping on a note in the notebook no longer closes the inventory
• Imported a few tweaks and improvements for the translations
• Implemented missing sound effects for the notebook and a pickup
• Improved some voice overs by switching to high quality source recordings and cutting a few unnecessary lines altogether
• The inventory arrow scroll sound should no longer play when the scrolling is disabled
