Based on the Macquarie Dictionary Sixth Edition, the app features thousands of new words, phrases and definitions such as apera, blade runner, dramality, frape, yarn bombing, urban homesteading, virtual choir, mummy blog and many more.

It also includes:
· entries relating to business, science and technology - guanxi, rogue robot, silo mentality, growth hacking, crowdfunding and citizen science
· entries relating to the environment and climate change - blue revolution, envirocrime, flood pulse, green tape, novel ecosystem and rock fillet

- A question mark, ?, matches zero or more characters.
For example, searching for bush? will find bush, bushel, bush lemon, etc.
- A question mark followed by a number, ?n, matches zero to n characters.
For example, searching for col?2r will find collar and colour.
- A hash, #, matches exactly one character.
For example, searching for wom#n will find woman and women. Searching for hon### will find all 6-letter words beginning with 'hon'.
