업데이트의 핵심은 안전조치 강화로서 운전자의 주행을 보다 안전하고 편리하게 하는 것이 목적입니다. 이번 업데이트의 구체적인 특징으로는 현재의 속도 제한 표시가 개선된 점을 꼽을 수 있습니다. 아울러 시각적 경고 기능이 통합되어 있어서 운전자가 제한 속도를 초과하게 될 때 이를 경고합니다.
그 밖에도 앞으로는 지도 데이터에 대한 업데이트가 존재할 때 앱을 통해 이러한 정보가 즉시 전달되므로, 항상 데이터를 최신 상태로 유지할 수 있게 됩니다.
고객으로부터의 제안사항 및 개선 요구를 적극적으로 반영하면서 특히 레이아웃 부분에서 많은 변화를 주었으므로 maps+more 앱을 보다 편리하게 이용하실 수 있을 것입니다.

Some of you had problems with the map material after installing the last update and many of you had to reinstall the app to solve this problem. We're sorry for the inconvenience this caused.
Remember to update the map every so often

You can now easily enable/disable handwriting input
maps+more now shows the speed limits on your route – so slow down, relax and enjoy the drive!
The most recent addresses you've driven to are now displayed when you search for destinations
If you wish to drive without navigation announcements, you can mute them by pressing the mute button on the map
-You can program your home address, meaning you can navigate there from anywhere
-Browsing your media is now even easier
-Your preferred map view (2D/3D) is now saved
-And much more besides…
