About MathChallenges
MathChallenges is a collection of widely varied math puzzles and logic problems created by Theoni Pappas (author of The Mathematics Calendar) and Dale Lindley
A new Challenge is presented every day. Some Challenges require logical reasoning, others a knowledge of high school level mathematics. All require careful thinking!
Each challenge consists of three parts:
• A statement of the Challenge.
• Need some help? Press the Hint button.
• If you think you have the right solution, tap the Solution button. Here you will find a step-by-step description of one or more ways to solve the challenge.
At any time you can revisit Challenges from past days by touching the “to the past” button.
