About MedTel Phone
The MedTel Phone App allows you use your company’s MedTel Cloud PBX system from any iPhone or iPad. Make calls, Hold or Transfer and have visibility of your colleagues call status and much more. Enjoy all the benefits of your secure MedTel Cloud PBX on your iPhone or iPad.
•Professional and intuitive app design
•Single number for both fixed and mobile devices.
•Incoming calls to your fixed desk phone are automatically routed to your iPhone/iPad.
•Incoming calls to the App show the number of the caller, not the PBX.
•All outgoing calls from your App show the company number, not your mobile number.
•Make calls from your iPhone/iPad contact list or from the company phone directories in the PBX. In either case you present the CLI number of the company PBX.
•See the status of colleagues in real time.
•Busy on mobile device status is indicated to other users.
•Call history - missed calls, received calls, dialled calls.
•Listen to and manage your business voicemails.
•The PBX may be programmed to send all your app calls over IP or to the GSM network when you are off site and over Wifi on your LAN.
•Flip during a call from VoIP to GSM cellular service or the other way, depending on signal quality
•The MedTel Phone App uses Voice over IP (VoIP) technology over both Wifi and 3G/4G networks. It may also be programmed to route voice communication over the cellular network. Be aware that some 3G/4G Service providers may restrict the use of VoIP or charge extra fees for VoIP. If you have any concerns about the use of the PocketiTel App over your 3G/4G carrier’s network or quality of the available WiFi network, you should use the cellular network option for the voice communication.
