Das Programm umfasst die von Hans Letulé zusammengestellte Apfeldatenbank und erlaubt das
Suchen nach allgemeinen Eigenschaften (Größe, Farbe, Formen) sowie speziellen Sortenmerkmalen (z.B. Kelchgruben- und Kernhauseigenschaften,
Lentizellen, ...). Nach Eingabe von Größe, Form,
Grund- und Deck-Farbe sowie Stiel-Länge verbleiben oft nur noch wenige mögliche Apfelsorten. Mit wenigen weiteren Eingaben sind die meisten Apfelsorten eindeutig bestimmbar.
