Eating out has never been easier for vegetarians and vegans as the number of restaurants catering to us continues to grow. The Vegman App helps you find vegetarian and vegan, as well as VEG-friendly restaurants - and wherever you are in the world, it tells you how to get to them.
Waiting for your food? You can use this time to read our newly improved blog right from the Vegman App!
The Vegman App is a companion app for the community based website www.vegman.org. Please note: Vegman is a work in progress. There are many vegan, vegetarian and, VEG-friendly restaurants in the world and we need your help to identify them. Via our website you can upload images, write reviews, rate restaurants you have visited and flag wrong content, so the community can profit from your experiences as you will profit from content submitted by others. This content will also be accessible in the Vegman App and in a upcoming version we will implement the function to submit data directly from the app.
We want to thank our worldwide community for helping us build Vegman. Your participation leads to a better world, and the animals and environment thank you for it!

Hello community!
You might’ve thought the Vegman app is dead. Not so! We’re back in 64 bit.
And guess what ...we are already working on the next version that will finally include all the nice features from our website [www.vegman.org].

Hi Vegman Community.
Thank you very much for all of your feedback on our first version of the Vegman App.
In this completely new release we have implemented many, many, many new features.
VEG-frinedly and RAW restaurants
One of the biggest changes (you might have seen it already on our website) is that Vegman form now on supports and lists VEG-friendly (blue) and RAW (purple) restaurants.
Rating and reviews
While this version does not yet allow you to review restaurants, reviews submitted on www.vegman.org are being displayed. This way you will get valuable feedback about restaurants which will help you come to a decision about what place you want to visit.
KM/Miles switch
You can now switch between kilometers and Miles, plus you get to choose between the old school (classic) and the fancy view that we especially added for devices with bigger screens.
Vegman blog
Many community members asked us to implement the blog into the app as well. You will not be able to comment on blog posts in this version yet but you can read all blog posts on the go.
Feedback form
To collect more invaluable feedback for upcoming releases we implemented a feedback form that you can use to get in contact with us. We promise you to read every incoming message ASAP!
Filtering
As many Vegans might not be interested in Vegetarian restaurants, or many Vegetarians might not want to search for meat serving VEG-friendly listings, we implemented some basic filters. A more advanced filter system (like on our website) will follow in an upcoming release.
Upcoming overview
You want to know about upcoming features and releases? No problem. Just tap the "Upcoming" button to see what we are working on at the moment.
KarmaPoints
No… login and KarmaPoints did not make it into this release yet as this version of the app is "read only". But we are doing our best to implement all the nice features from our website into the Vegman ASAP.
