Thank you for all your feedback. In version 2.3 all the data updating was handled by the apps background process to make sure widget, app and Apple Watch complications are 100% in sync. But all the users who love the widget but never open the app and doesn't have an Apple Watch stopped getting updates when the app wasn't used. Now the update process has been re-enabled for the widget. If you have an Apple Watch and find it frustrating to see that it sometimes takes a little while before it shows the same data as the widget you can disable the «widget updates data» switch under settings -> Widget settings within the app.

Knots as wind unit is now working. Really sorry about that!

If you’re using iOS 10 beta:
The widget should not be cropped anymore, but the layout handling is a bit different in iOS 10. A final and 100% compatible iOS 10 version cannot be built until the developer application goes out of beta shortly before iOS 10 release, but please continue to send feedback about visible inconsistencies and strange behaviour in iOS 10!

- Detailed display settings: choose forecast units individually and turn decimals on/off for forecast data

Usage tips:
- Using GPS to update data often uses lots of battery.
- You can update manually by double tapping the widget.
- Forecasted data rarely changes more often than every 2 hours.
- It's easy to switch between last chosen map locations by clicking he location name inside the app

This is a BIG update!

bug fixes:
-fixed some inconsistent scaling in the Climacons icon set
-fixed a few design glitches for some units
-openweathermap: current weather is loaded from forecast if data is outdated (older than 1 hour)
-map location name is now used instead of open weatherman weather station name when met.no is chosen

-daily forecasts up to 6 days from openweathermap by choosing «openweathermap.org with daily forecast» as forecast service in settings
