The volunteer staff of LAIT911 Fire Corp worked tirelessly the past few months to bring you this feature-packed update.
- We added a new and continuously improving help center that provides valuable information and lets you submit a ticket right from the app if you need additional support.
Long press a notification to see a nearby map of the incident.
- Priority alerts are now sent as time-sensitive notifications, allowing you to avoid distractions without worrying about missing important safety-impacting information.
- Clicking a LAIT911 incident link will now open directly in the app instead of the web browser when on your mobile device.
- Users now have the ability to log in with their email address or their username.
- We made our incident filter settings more meaningful, allowing you to easily select the desired distance from your location and the age of the incident.
- Better email address and username validation to prevent user frustration during login and signup.
Some quick bug fixes that included:
- Users were able to enable zipcode alerts without having a zipcode on their profile
- The app would freeze or crash when clicking multiple external links.
- Additional misc bugs, performance and aesthetic fixes all resulting in a better user experience.
