LITPro SYNC

We're starting to phase this app out... Now all of this sync functionality is built right in to the MX app and ROAD app to help make using LITPro even easier. You'll still be able to use this app if you prefer, we're just letting you know for now.

We've now introduced a way to "archive" track configs that clutter up your track selection process. This means you can permanently hide track config options you don't want to see any more (whether they are just bad track configs from the get-go or are just old and no longer relevant).

When you "archive" a track config this means you won't ever see it again, but also sends a notice to our LITPro team here and after review we will likely archive it for everyone else too. So please do archive when you see the need to help us keep things clean for everyone.

We've fixed the bug where the app crashes when you click on the "Launch in MX app" button when reviewing a past sync. Keep us posted if you are finding other issues.

Fixed bug that prevented users with long passwords from being able to log in (caused by an issue with the iOS 10 SDK).

This fixes an issue in the previous release where in some cases if you turned off your LITPro after a sync, but before all the data was uploaded it wouldn't finish the sync correctly.

Big changes in this release! We've put a ton of work in to trying to make creating and using a "good" track configuration easier, and to increase the lifetime value of our HD Track Maps. Here are a few things to look for:

SELECTING AND CREATING TRACK CONFIGURATIONS
1. Track selection is now sorted by last used (this means the track at the top of the list is most likely the right one to use...)
2. Automatic versioning of existing tracks (now when you have to create a new track you don't have to think about what version comes next)
3. Now we automatically re-use HD Track maps (even when they get a little outdated as the track changes they are still a lot better than the satellite track maps)
4. We have created an awareness of "Parks" in the app. Now when you are at a known track we'll save you a few clicks and auto-populate the track title with that park name. This also makes it easier for us to curate the tracks on our end.

RECOVERING FROM FAILED SYNCS
1. Even better handling of sync data when you have a poor (or even nonexistent) Internet connection.
2. We automatically perform the "Failed Sync Recovery", so there is less down-time when a problem does occur.
3. An insane amount of stress testing! We don't think it is possible now to lose data (unless of course you delete the app)

Basically, our system works way better when more people ride the same track configuration. We can improve our analysis and do a better job of helping riders get faster, so everything in this release is geared towards making that possible. Take a look around at the new features in the app and let us know if you have any questions.

This release includes a new feature to recover failed syncs. We've seen when customers are out at the track we just can't 100% reliably get all the data uploaded. With this release we should be able to recover from any kind of network problem - even when you are one of those habitual app-killers (where you shut down every app running in the background). From the account screen there's now a button that takes you to a "Failed Sync Recovery" tool. The first time you go there you might have quite a lot of data to upload, but after that first run you'll only ever see files there that failed to upload. Happy syncing!

More changes to the app to improve the ease of use and work-flow especially when trying to manage a team or "fleet" of riders (+ bug fixes). For all the coaches/trainers and team managers out there who have more than one rider wearing LITPro, this update will make it far easier to manage tracking because now you can do it remotely. Just make sure LITPro is on before your riders get to the queueing area, then launch the "Fleet Control" screen in the app and you can start/stop tracking on all the LITPro devices in your account that are in bluetooth range.

This helps keep sync times shorter since you can start/stop tracking closer to the beginning/end of a moto, even when it isn't convenient or possible to gain physical access to the unit. It also help give you peace of mind that tracking is on since you can quickly confirm that the devices are in tracking mode.

This release includes support for v3 of our backend server infrastructure, including a lot of improvements to the way all your data is handled behind the scenes. Once you install this app all of your data will be automatically migrated to the new system. Make sure you also install the latest LITPro MX app as they will both need to be running on the same new system.

Minor bug fixes, including new security protocols. Now also supports creating a track configuration from the iPhone.

Some under-the-hood changes to prep for our release of some exciting new features that will come out in Feb/March time frame. Plus, we've added support for the iPad Pro (not sure if many people have one of those yet, but it is gigantic, maybe a little too much so, but we like the idea of it...)
