Hey there, LiveFlight fans! In this update we've added many new features for FREE alongside many performance improvements and bug fixes.
As always, thanks again to every LiveFlight user for their support. We really hope you're enjoying the app, so don't hesitate to contact us if there's anything we can make better! Now, back to the changelog...
[New] Flight Status:
--------------------
• Plan ahead with flight status data, including ETA and distance remaining based on a filed flight plan. Easily check at what time your long-haul flight is scheduled to arrive at!
• We've added even more powerful flight plan information to go alongside the Flight Status data. Clearly distinguish each waypoint (Fix/VOR) on a flight plan, toggle its visibility on the map and explore comprehensive stats (available in the second tab when selecting a flight).
[New] More ATC features and improved performance:

• Some pilots were getting impatient over slow flight loading times, and to be honest, so were we. If you tap on a flight or airport they'll now open quicker than you can say "bam".
• We decided to take a few steps back and add more free stuff for our awesome fans. ATC information is now available to all without a Horizon subscription. Cheers for your support!
• Here at LiveFlight, we hate fake IFATC users as much as certain political leaders hate fake news. So we've added a badge that lets you verify if a controller is part of IFATC.
[New] Translations:

• ¡Hola! Привет! LiveFlight is now available in more languages. It's even easier to use for our Spanish and Russian friends. (thanks to Vlad for the Russian translation!)
• Want to see LiveFlight in your own language? Send us a message via one of our social media outlets and we'll give you some more info on how you can help!
[Fixes] Squashed bugs:
--------------------
• Sometimes when you switched a server, there'd be a flash and planes would be everywhere as if global had been released. Or no flights at all would show. Whatever the case, it was misleading, so it has been fixed.
• There was an issue where Horizon subscribers logged in with Google would see adverts after a while. Horizon subscribers deserve better than this, so we've made every effort to fix it and it shouldn't happen again. Our sincere apologies.
• Others reported seeing adverts when first launching the app, which also wasn't meant to happen, so this should be fixed now too. Sorry.

Thanks for downloading LiveFlight! I really appreciate all the support I've received from the community since the release last weekend, and I sincerely hope you're enjoying using the app.
A few pilots have got in touch to let me know about some minor issues when using LiveFlight. This update contains a number of fixes and performance improvements - I recommend you install this update as soon as you get a chance:
- New behind-the-scenes methods and improvements for better globe rendering performance, particularly when showing lots of aircraft.
- Fixed an issue where LiveFlight would crash when tapping on some aircraft.
- Solved an issue where aircraft would, at random times, zoom off the screen causing an app crash.
- Fix for Google login: users logging in with Google will now always remain logged in (sometimes they would be magically logged out - this happens no more).
Don't hesitate to send me any feedback you may have via Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. Enjoy, and have a merry Christmas!
