This app pairs with the Orpyx LogR Gen 2 system to control the logging of plantar foot pressure and IMU data. The feet provide the primary surface of interaction with the environment during locomotion. Devices that accurately and efficiently measure foot pressure are crucial to assess overall foot and ankle health. Information derived from foot plantar pressure measurement has indications for many different applications including: gait and balance assessments, posture research, rehabilitation, footwear and orthotics design, sport biomechanics, injury prevention, and fall prevention. View in real-time a map of pressures underfoot. This application requires an iPhone or iPod Touch device that supports Bluetooth LE and the Orpyx LogR Gen 2 system.
