Orpyx LogR

This App pairs with the Orpyx LogR system to log a foot sensor feed collected via mobile, low profile (<1mm), in-shoe, plantar pressure measurement units. The feet provide the primary surface of interaction with the environment during locomotion. Devices that accurately and efficiently measure foot pressure are crucial to assess overall foot and ankle health. Information derived from foot plantar pressure measurement has indications for many different applications including: gait and balance assessments, posture research, rehabilitation, footwear and orthotics design, sport biomechanics, injury prevention, and fall prevention. View in real-time a map of pressures underfoot. This application requires an iPhone or iPod device that supports Bluetooth LE and the Orpyx LogR system. Data is collected, then pushed to the Orpyx Cloud infrastructure for additional processing and storage.
