About MealPlan+

MealPlan is an easy, efficient way to plan meals and groceries.

"I am thoroughly enjoying your MealPlan app!" "Super app!" "Finally - a simple, easy-to-use menu planning app that looks good as well."

Now with Apple Watch (watchOS 4) support!

MealPlan is a weekly meal and grocery planning app that's focused on getting the job done efficiently. You use a simple interface to plan out meals like “Hamburgers on Thursday, Fish and Rice on Friday”. Recent meals are easily available or you can type in new items the first time you use them.

MealPlan is a universal app, and will sync between your iPhone and iPad using either iCloud or Dropbox. Plan your meals on the iPad's big screen, and automatically have your grocery list with you on your phone. And access your grocery list from your Apple Watch.

MealPlan creates your grocery list as you're planning meals. When you're done, tap the Grocery Basket to see the list, add new items, mark off items you already have, and then print it, email it, or sync it with your iPhone. This is a huge time saver!

And, on the iPad, once you’ve used the app for a few weeks, the Magic Wand will help you quickly fill out subsequent weeks, with a quick suggestions interface.

Features include:
- Simple interface to plan out meals.
- Keep track of recipes and the groceries they use.
- Automatically generated grocery list based on your meal plan.
- Save grocery lists for later use (think "Party" or "Camping").
- Save a week's planned meals as a template to reuse.
- Combined search/add box makes it easy to add new items.
- Print out a week's plan to any AirPrint printer.
- Configure your own meals: Add snacks, or remove breakfast if you don't want to plan it.
- Email a plain text summary of the week's plan.
- Add a note to any meal item, including clickable links.
- Dropbox sync for families with multiple devices and accounts.
- Use Siri for groceries: "Add Milk to my Grocery List".

"Before MealPlan, I’d buy food at the grocery store and then forget I had it .. a few days later it would go to waste. A few minutes every week standing in front of the fridge with MealPlan in hand will help you get the most out of what you have on hand. Plan it, print it out and stick it to your fridge!"

Improvements when importing recipes from the web: MealPlan now does a better job of making a grocery list for your recipe when you add a recipe from the web. You can also plan to use a recipe for a particular meal as part of importing using the built-in browser.

On the iPhone you can now also add a meal to the meal plan from the recipe view, which makes it easier to plan by browsing recipes.

Thanks for using MealPlan!

2.13
Jan 25, 2017
This version makes a big change to how you plan meals on the iPhone. Rather than using drag & drop to plan meals on the iPhone, where there really wasn't enough space to show a lot of choices (especially when the keyboard was visible), now the app shows your recent items in a list. You can tap the Add button to add them, switch between meals using the Next and Prev buttons, or drag the day view up and down to move the bar that highlights which meal you're planning. If you have any questions or feedback on the new system I'd love to hear from you - please email support@falldaysoftware.com. Thanks!

There new features this version:

- Today Widget, for an at-a-glance view of your meals for today.
- Made it easier to discover how to add recipes on the iPad.
- In Settings, you can now save your planned days and re-use them. Plan out any number of days, save it, and use it for future weeks.

Also some bug fixes and minor improvements. Hopefully fixed a rare crash that could occur when marking off groceries while a sync was happening.
2.11
Sep 3, 2016
Adds a Today widget showing the meals you've got planned for today. Increases the number of meals you can have to 6 per day (great for people who plan morning, afternoon and evening snacks). And when you email your meal plan, now a printable PDF page showing the next 7 days is included with the email.
2.10
Jul 5, 2016
If Apple can use "10.10" as a version number then I can use "2.10"! I have some bigger features in the works that I'm saving the 3.0 version for. Don't worry, it will be a free update. But in the meantime, this version fixes an occasional crash at launch, and fixes some problems with the grocery list when your grocery names were too long to fit on one line.
2.9
May 4, 2016
Streamlined adding groceries. Now you can quickly go through your most recently used groceries and add them to your grocery list with one tap! You can also save grocery lists, so you can create and save special grocery lists for when you're having a party, or going camping.
2.8
Apr 19, 2016
The theme for this version is performance, especially when you have a lot of recipes stored in MealPlan. It should be especially faster on the iPad now. Some other new items: You can now browse recipes by category on the iPad. The grocery list now handles long grocery names better, and scales to match your text size preferences. And of course, bug fixes. Thanks for using MealPlan!
2.7.1
Dec 12, 2015
This is a bug fix release, including sync improvements and a fix for a crash that could occur when turning on reminder import.
2.7
Nov 17, 2015
This version includes some new features to streamline meal and grocery planning.

You can indicate whether you want ingredients automatically added to the grocery list or not when you plan meals using those recipes.

You can delete groceries that you've added mistakenly. Swipe sideways on them to delete.

And you can mark recipes that you don't want included as suggested meals. One way this is useful is to get MealPlan to stop showing special occasion meals in your Recent Meals list.

This version should also sync more reliably over cellular networks, and fixes a problem that prevented the app from working on the iPad Pro.

As always if you have any questions or suggestions please contact us either through email or on our Facebook page. You'll find contact information in Settings. Thanks!
2.6.1
Oct 7, 2015
Adds 3D Touch shortcuts that let you launch MealPlan directly to Today's Meals, Grocery List, or Add a Grocery.
