Hello! I’ve been working hard to make the Magic 8 Ball stable and more fun this summer!
This update includes new features and performance improvements to make your Magic 8 Ball better.
Added:
- New Picture Backgrounds!
- There is now a modern response topic!
- The Magic 8 Ball can now read responses aloud to you!
- Added the ability to reset your achievements and counter.
- Profanity filter for custom responses
Improvements:
- Renamed “Response Attitude” to “Response Topics”
- Achievements now show up faster
- Achievement notifications are more efficient
- Better error handling
- Custom Responses can now be canceled inside the dialog

- HOLY FLIGHT PLAN BATMAN! The Magic 8 Ball should now correctly ask for access for your photo library!
- Fixed a bug where the badges weren’t set when you earned an achievement.
- Redid the included backgrounds page, the one with the photos displayed was using 40x more ram. Ouch.
- Improved location manager logic, It will no longer request to the system to check location if you’ve disabled location services or if you’ve denied access. (The system would deny the request before this anyways)
- Improved the badge logic for the achievements.
- Now add custom responses!!! The most requested feature is here boys & girls!
- The Magic 8 Ball now counts the total number achievements automatically.
