About Particle IoT
The Particle mobile app is a tool to configure and manage your Particle hardware and cloud deployments. Set up a new device, check device diagnostics, and keep track of which devices are on- and offline with a few taps of the screen.
Control Panel — rename devices, set notes, or even unclaim, all from a single section of the mobile app.
Device Info Screen — view device ID, serial number, Device OS version; plus, you can ping, shout rainbows (signal mode), rename, and edit device notes.
Device list filtering — sort and filter your fleet based on your needs right from the main screen of the app.
UI refresh — improved information density and readability, plus multiple UI element tweaks across the app.
Tinker improvements — review of pin layout, UX refresh, and updates to ensure consistent design across the mobile app experience.

* You spoke and we listened - a "back" button is added to the setup flow of 3rd generation (Mesh) devices.
* Added support for using both unprotected and WEP protected Wi-Fi networks with an Argon.
* Added a "setup completed" screen when setting up internet-connected devices (Argon, Boron, Xenon+Ethernet FeatherWing) as stand alone device. Previously, the setup flow would terminate without notice after successfully configuring and validating internet connectivity.
* Fixed a rare bug that 3rd generation (Mesh) device setup would run into erroneous errors after displaying an initial error during the pairing process.

Thank you to our first users! We appreciate the feedback and detailed reports. This release adds several keys fixes and improvements:
1. Some users reported errors when scanning the Data Matrixes on Argons. This version fixes the issues in many cases or provides a way to get a new Matrix from Support for all others.
2. Improved error handling and messages in multiple flows. For example, when trying to set an already-used Network name, an error happens sooner in the flow.
3. New! Self-owned Networks show Device count in Scan Network screen.
4. New! Local logging of errors for better support. Tap "YOUR DEVICES" title in the device list 10 times to see recent errors stored on the device to share with our Support team.
