After the bankruptcy of the company behind Drugstars, it has been acquired by new owners. The acquisition has entailed the following changes to the app.
- To improve user data protection the login functionality has been disabled
- As a consequence of the bankruptcy all partnership contracts have been voided, and therefore donations and lotteries have been disabled until new partnerships have been entered into, and previous contracts have been reestablished.

Finally, we’ve added Dark Mode to the entire app. As an extra service we’ve included links to your medication on DrugsDisclosed.com a new service for patients to see how others feel about the medication your taking.

This has resulted in a new design for our home screen, with new icons and larger numbers, we hope you like it. We’ve also fixed some smaller issues around the newsfeed which we hope you enjoy. Hope you are all safe! During our lockdown we’ve kept ourselves busy and have added some new functions to this release that we hope you will love as much as we do. The first new feature is in your profile where you can now invite friends and family directly to the app. Allowing you to help even more people stay healthy. The next feature we’ve been working on is a little geeky, but now we can link around in the app from articles to reviews etc. Making the new newsfeed even better. Enjoy our app.
