We've fixed some bugs and you can now see where other users have hunted and fished across the U.S.

Upland Reports! You can now record observations and harvests for everything from pheasant to Himalayan Snowcock!
We've also updated our other Reports, added to our event aggregation, and fixed some bugs.

It's mentoring season and Powderhook has gone offline! Wait, that sounds bad. This is supposed to be good news. You can now make offline harvest reports for deer, waterfowl, turkeys, and mentoring. Just in time for summer... when you can't hunt deer, waterfowl, or turkeys. Which is why it's mentoring season. See you out there!

Our biggest update of 2019 is ready for action. Now, it's easy than ever to become an outdoor mentor, to find someone to learn from or to interact with people near and far on outdoorsy topics of interest. The weather outside is beautiful, so invite someone new to get out and enjoy it!

For the more detailed among us, here are some highlights from this update:

• Added a "new activity" tab to the home screen so you don't have to open each camp with new posts
• Fully updated the commenting features
• Added pagination and pull-down to refresh in several places
• Better organized the home screen
• Click the "+" to buy a hunting or fishing license, or make a campground reservation
• Allow image zoom in image slider (image zoom is still possible in the thread view)
• Added the ability to score / age deer harvest reports
• Score a turkey harvest
• You can now enter contests without leaving the app

Plus, lots of bug fixes and performance improvements.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. If that's true then our new multi-image posts are worth, well, thousands of words. Speaking of posting features, you can now post in several Camps at once. Remember, Camps are Powderhook's version of groups. Stay tuned for lots of fun stuff in Camps. Reports got a major upgrade, and we got rid of up and down-voting in favor of a good ol' fashioned fist bump.

We've added shooting ranges!

Public lands update! Give the map a look; we've updated data in 8 states.

Chatter got a spring cleaning, moving events out of your feed. Discover the next fun thing to do in our aptly named "Discover" section.

If you're based in Nebraska, you can now call a Digital Mentor directly. We're continuing to test this way of connecting people on a limited basis but hope to roll it out to the rest of the country soon.

Remember: The number one reason people don't have a mentor is no ever asked them. The number one reason people don't mentor someone else is no one ever asked them. Only you can break that cycle!

Chatter got an upgrade! We've taken events out of the feed, so be sure to click "Discover" to find outdoor events and videos from your area. Also, the testing of new Digital Mentoring features continues in Nebraska. Pan to Nebraska on the Map or Chatter to check out what we're up to. Once we get these new features right in our home state we'll roll them out to the rest of the country.
