Who said that trains and cars can’t be friends? With P+Rail, these two modes of transport can be combined with ease.
With the SBB P+Rail app, you can pay for your parking quickly and cashfree. The P+Rail app unifies SBB P+Rail parking spaces with those of ten partner railways (BLS, RhB, RBS, TPF, SOB, MGB, OeBB, AB, AVA and Zentralbahn). Parkingpay parking spaces and a large number of parking spaces from municipalities throughout Switzerland round off the largest Swiss parking offer in one app.
And here’s why the SBB P+Rail app is so simple and fast:
The app always knows exactly where your nearest parking space is, so you don’t need to go to the information board.
Extra information about the parking spaces is displayed for each location, such as the number of electric car charging stations or important restrictions.
If you make a mistake while booking, you can easily cancel your parking payment independently within the first few minutes.
You can access an overview of your active, expired and refunded parking tickets.
You can store several number plates and save your personal favourite locations in the quick selection view.
Already using the SBB Mobile app for searching the timetable or purchasing tickets? You can use your SwissPass login for the SBB P+Rail app too. In future, you will be able to use your stored payment methods in both apps – wherever and whenever you are on the move.

With the new geolocation function, you will be automatically shown the parking space closest to your location!
How does this feature save time and reduce stress? It’s quite simple. Imagine that you have just found the perfect parking spot and now all you have to do is buy a parking ticket. But what parking space are you actually parked in? And in what zone? The P+Rail app gives you the answer straight away.
Have a good trip!

You can now use the P+Rail app at over 600 stations across Switzerland to pay for your parking easily, quickly, contactlessly and without needing cash.
The more than 750 Parkingpay locations in various cities round off the huge offer provided by the P+Rail app.

How can we make our app even better? After some customer surveys, many train rides, coffees and some sleepless nights, we have the solution: We integrate the Parkingpay function into the app!
What does this mean? In addition to the more than 600 P+Rail parking spaces at the railway stations, you can now use the P+Rail app to pay the parking fee at more than 750 Parkingpay locations in Switzerland easily, quickly, cashless and contactless. Wherever you find the Parkingpay sign at the parking ticket machines.
We have even made some improvements and fixed some bugs. Let us know if you have any further ideas or feedback on the app. Because we want to make travelling even easier for you.
