About Praxis IHM
The IHM (part I) to be developed contains the hazardous materials present in the ship structure or equipment and referred to in Annexes I and II of the EU SRR.
Praxis is a a user-friendly application and provides features which will help the IHM experts with the following actions:
- Collection and review of ship information
- Preparation of Visual / Sampling Check Plan (VSCP)
- Preparation of Risk Assessment
- On-board visual inspection and sampling
- Laboratory sampling and results filling
- Preparation of IHM Manual Part 1 (IHM Inventory and related report)

Thank you for your valuable feedback; we continue to improve Bureau Veritas and ship owners / operators IHM experts experience with Praxis.
• The existing sections and subsection headings in VSCP table are removed, now only data will be displayed in alphabetical order as per column “Location/Zone/Deck”
• “Appendix - Report of visual checks and sampling locations – Not Contained” reports data will now be displayed in alphabetical order as per column “Location/Zone/Deck”.

- BVE experts doing inspections for French flag ship, can generate BVE report template
- Reports can be generated even if lab results are pending
- If Hong Kong applicable regulation is selected, the text in IHM Manual Part I’s cover page updated
- While doing on-board checking, user can copy uploaded photos to all Hazardous materials of the location.

- The IHM Expert can enter a quantity/unit for items identified as PCHM.
- Under lab result the IHM Expert can add a remark for the samples identified as ‘Contained below threshold value’.
- The signatories are displayed on the cover page of IHM Manual Part 1.
- Added multiple options of fibre type for "Asbestos" identified as contained.

This new version includes various improvements based on the feedbacks of our clients and our experts. This includes the ability for client users to “preview live” IHM Inventory and IHM Manual Part 1 at any time during the maintenance, as well as the ability to add supporting documents to the IHM Manual Part 1.

To improve user experience below Maintenance features are updated
- Risk Assessment and Fibre type information is not requested (anymore) from the client performing the maintenance
