Die SBF See App ist ein interaktiver Trainer für den theoretischen Teil der Prüfung Sportbootführerschein See, SBF See. Die App enthält alle offiziellen Fragen (Stand Januar 2013) nach dem Multiple-Choice System (www.elwis.de). Die Prüfung kann sowohl per Fragenkatalog (alle 15 Fragebögen sind enthalten) und Zeitstopp, also auch mit allen Fragen geübt werden. Der integrierte Zeitstopp ermöglicht so eine realitätsnahe Prüfungssimulation. Ausserdem werden alle Prüfungssimulationen gespeichert und nach bestanden/ nicht bestanden und richtig/ falsch bewertet. Ein Filter teilt die Fragen auf, so kann man gezielt nach Themen navigieren.

Die SBF See App konzentriert auf die Prüfungssimulation ohne den Benutzer mit aufwendigen Funktionen zu überfordern. Die in den Fragen enthaltenen Darstellungen, Symbole und Bilder wurden aufwendig gezeichnet um eine hohe Qualität zu erreichen. Der Kartenteil der Theorieprüfung ist nicht enthalten.
