• PTZ enhancements
When you are viewing a PTZ camera, you can quickly move the PTZ motor by tapping on the video image to center the image to that point.
• Camera blocking support
If a camera is blocked in Security Center, users with insufficient user levels are not able to play back that segment of video. If they were viewing live video, the video is immediately blocked.
• Threat level support
If a threat level is set in Security Center, users with insufficient user levels are logged off the system, and they are not able to log on until the threat level is cleared.
• Adding bookmarks
You can now add bookmarks to live and playback video.
• Access denied events for door events
When monitoring door events, additional access denied reasons are supported, such as Denied by access rule, and Insufficient privileges.
• Video Stream Encryption
Video streams sent to Mobile apps from Security Center are now encrypted by default. The video streaming port is set to use HTTPS by default during the Security Center Mobile installation.
• Time zone enhancements
When you view playback video or add a bookmark, the time stamps are displayed according to the time zones of the video units.
• Mobile app help
Online help is now available for your Mobile app, from the Menu page.

- Mobile Video Streaming:
Security personnel can now stream live video from their iPhone to Genetec Security Center. Streamed video can be viewed in real-time at a Security Center workstation or archived for later use. Especially useful in emergency situations, Security Center Mobile allows operators in the office to react to what field personnel are seeing. (Feature not available on iPad. Feature requires a Mobile Server Version 3.1)
- Enhanced Reporting:
Administrators now have access to additional reporting tools to allow them to view failed log on attempts, monitor which devices have streamed live video to Security Center, and identify restricted devices that attempted to log onto the Mobile Server.
- Increased App Security:
Mobile Admin users can now restrict mobile devices from connecting to the Mobile Server, in case where a device is lost or stolen. There is also a new option to require Mobile app users to enter their password each time they log on.
- Mobile Server Connection List:
Maintain a list of Mobile Server connection settings so that you can quickly access various servers.
- Compatibility improvements with iOS 6.
This version is backwards compatible with older Mobile Server versions. The iPhone 5's 4-inch screen will be supported in a future update.
