About SG Next Holiday
Ever wonder when is the next public holiday in Singapore? Need a quick reference to Singapore's public holidays? SG Next Holiday is the app for you as it provides Singapore's public holiday information in a clear and simple card format.
You can add more features like inserting holidays to calendar and a countdown mode for the holidays via in-app purchase.
• 2022 and 2023 Singapore public holidays with upcoming holiday highlighted
Qns: Why is the newly announced public holiday not on SG Next Holiday app immediately?
Ans: SG Next Holiday does not make use of users' Internet to download public holiday information. It will require some time to amend and test the app as well as to go through Apple's review before the new public holiday information is available via an app update. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
• Add/Update all holidays of a chosen year to default calendar (available with in-app purchase)
If holidays have been added with this function previously, using it again will update calendar with any new changes instead and not create duplicates.
Please note that the calendar events created are “timezone aware” and thus not all-day events. Check out the App Store screenshots for sample Calendar Event Details.
• Countdown Mode (available with in-app purchase)
Toggle display to show countdown to holidays and count up for holidays that are over. Find out the number of days till Singapore’s National Day, Christmas, etc, and how many days have passed since the New Year, etc.
• Designed for better usability on bigger iPhone displays
Main controls are placed at the bottom of the screen.
For users who are not in the same timezone as Singapore:
Please note that app-displayed holiday dates are unconverted Singapore dates to minimise confusion, such as displaying the New Year as 31 Dec of previous year.

Sorry for the delay in adding 2022 public holidays, my Mac computer was down and I had to wait to get a new machine. This app has been in the App Store since 2015 and internal codes are too old to be updated to keep every feature working in the latest iOS. Nevertheless, I will still continue to update new holidays and keep this app in the App Store. Thank you for your understanding and for continuing to support this app over all these years!

• Pro features in-app purchase has been simplified to 1 purchase: Unlock Everything. This is due to new back-end taxation charges for 2020. All previous purchases that you already made before can still be restored with the Restore button under Pro Features section.
What's not working as intended
• Widget is not showing up in Today view, I did some minor changes backend and hopefully this new version fixes it! For now, you can see the widget using long press/3D Touch on the app icon at the home screen and check out what's the next holiday without opening the app.
• Dark mode support is not ready at the moment as it will require more work to implement. Widget will be using a neutral grey font in the meantime to support both light and dark mode.

Thank you for your patience in waiting for this update to add the 2019 holidays. My computer was down and had to be replaced. There was also additional work required to get the app working on the latest phones' new displays.
