Sleep++ Description
Use your Apple Watch to AUTOMATICALLY track your sleep!

Sleep++ takes advantage of the motion and health monitoring capabilities of your Apple Watch to measure both the duration and quality of your sleep. The better you understand how well you are sleeping the more you are able to make changes in your routines to benefit your rest.

My goal is to provide every Apple Watch owner with a free automatic sleep tracker that is simple and clear to understand. For each night you get a straightforward report of how long you slept and how restful you were during the night.

AUTOMATIC MODE:

Simply wear your Apple Watch overnight and each morning Sleep++ will analyze your sleep and give you a report about how long and restfully you slept.

MANUAL MODE:

If you want to have more precise control over the start/end time of each night recorded you can also use manual sleep tracking. This is also useful if your nightly routine makes it difficult for Sleep++ to determine when you went to bed.

1) Wear your Apple Watch while you sleep.
2) Tell Sleep++ when you start sleeping.
3) Tell Sleep++ when you wake up.

NOTES:

Sleep++ integrates with the Health App providing you a safe and private way to share your activity data with Sleep++. This data is used for automatic sleep tracking. You can also optionally have Sleep++ save your Sleep Analysis into your Health database after each night.

This update now allows you to manually extend an automatic night beyond its detected start and end times. In previous versions you could only shorten nights. To do this, hit 'Adjust Night' once you have selected a night.

This update also addresses a rare bug relating to duplicate automatic nights being created.
3.0.4 2018-04-18
Whoops, it looks like the last update included a bug in the processing of manual nights. This update fixes the bug. Your previously recorded nights should process the next time you open up the Apple Watch app. I'm so sorry for the trouble.

2.0.1 2016-05-17
This update is all about fixing little bugs and issues.
2.0 2016-02-11
Building on the initial success of Sleep++ I'm delighted to announce Sleep++ 2.0. This update is centered around major improvements to the sleep analysis engine, making it far better at helping you understand your sleep.

- The sleep analysis algorithm has been completely overhauled to allow for more fine grained sleep-type characterization. It can now accurately differentiate between deep sleep, light sleep, restlessness and wakefulness. These algorithmic improvements greatly increase the usefulness of the data collected.
- The HealthKit support for the app has been greatly improved beyond the the basic data previously collected. Detailed analysis of your night is now saved in Health for further use.
- A night detail screen now provides for more clear explanation of the quality of each night, telling you when you slept well and when you were restless.
- You can now trim nights from the detail screen, useful for when you forget to stop the sleep analysis when you wake up in the morning.
- The app now more fully supports time zone changes letting you get a more consistent view of your sleep as you travel.

I hope you enjoy the update, thank you so much for all your support.
1.0.2 2015-10-01

This update is smaller bug fix update while I work on a few bigger features for v1.1. It includes:

- Makes it clearer within the app if motion tracking permission was allowed by the user.
- Allows you to delete nights from the iPhone app (Swipe on the row you want to remove)

If you have a minute to leave a review in the App Store I would really appreciate it. It really helps get the word out about the app.
