Sticky Widgets has been updated to support all the newest iOS technologies! Cross items off your lists without even opening the app. Sticky Widgets notes are now more powerful than ever, since you can use Shortcuts to view and update them. And the widget system has been simplified so you never have to remember a note's name or ID number again.

Select any of your notes and tap the … button to set it to any of three Lock Screen widget slots. When customizing your Lock Screen, choose one of your Sticky Widgets widgets and put it on your screen to have your note always visible!

Sticky Widgets 3.0 is a huge update with lots of improvements. Here's a list of what's new:

- Lists. The most requested feature is here! In addition to classic free-form notes, you can also create lists. Each item can be toggled on and off (even from medium and large-sized widgets) and adding to your list is just as simple as you've come to expect from Sticky Widgets.
- Set note names. A major usability feature, you can now give your notes names and use them to tie notes to widgets (instead of relying on an auto-assigned ID number).
- Create notes directly from the note list. No need to do the widget-based note creation process of the past (though you absolutely still can). This should be much more user-friendly and understandable.
- Read or set notes from Shortcuts. Update your notes directly from a Shortcut action, and read your notes programmatically as well. This can be used to
- Undo/redo. Mistype something or accidentally delete some of your note? The new undo/redo buttons are here to help!
- Import/export. For those important notes, you can now export your whole note library for safe keeping, importing them back to Sticky Widgets at a later time.
- Improved syncing. The entire cloud backup and syncing layer has been rewritten. As always, no need for any sort of login or password: it uses your iCloud account.
- Substantial design and UI improvements. The whole app has had a touchup, especially the note editor with an all-new edge-to-edge design.

This is a small update with a potential for fix for an issue where users on beta operating systems may have some notes return to the default. It also adds a setting for toggling on and off syncing. This also lays some groundwork for plenty more features on the way...

- Upgraded users can now set different colors (both background and text colors) for dark mode. The note colors will switch when light/dark mode does.
- Improvements to the UI with a fresher look and a few more animations.
