About Tabata Trainer

Tabata Trainer is a easy to use HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) app based on the Tabata method. The app is perfectly suited for anyone looking for a new, fast and effective training routine.

Create your own workouts or pick one of the preloaded workouts and get started.

About the Tabata method:
The standard tabata method consists of eight cycles where you perform 20 seconds of intense exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest. You can pick any exercise you like (i.e push-ups/squats/lunges). After four minutes you are done.

All routines can be performed whenever you want and wherever you want. There is no need for expensive equipment or gym memberships. All you need is your body and what you can find around the house.

Please note:
To listen to music while using the app just start your favourite music app, select your music and then switch to Tabata Trainer and you are ready to go (make sure the mute switch is not activated).

Tabata Trainer 4.0 is here. It has a brand new design and a more streamlined experience.

This has been improved:
- A new, shiny and more accurate timer.
- Improved timer settings. You can now remove the rest interval if you're crazy.
- Featured workouts and your custom ones can now be filtered.
- Landscape support for the timer.
- Ability to pause/cancel the workout during the countdown. (Finally!)
- The upcoming exercise is now showed during the workout to give you time to prepare for the next thing - no more guessing.
- Support for the latest iOS version.

Tabata Trainer is taking a great leap forward. This version is built from the ground up to support and take advantage of the new features in iOS 7.

This update includes:
- Totally new interface and sound design.
- Voice feedback on all exercises.
- Functionality to customize routines even more.
- Option to choose if exercises should alternate or be stacked on top of each other.
- An updated exercise library with more exercises than ever before.


Please note:
Tabata Trainer is now a iOS7 app and will no longer support iOS6 and below. Also this update will unfortunately reset all user created routines, exercises and history. We apologize for the inconvenience but this necessary for future development of the app.
