About The AIM-FOR App

Consistent performance in Sport depends on how well individuals and teams adapt throughout the Performance Cycle. The AIM-FOR APP enables you to achieve consistency by providing guidance, the tools to self-manage, and the means to prepare, perform, reflect and refine your performance, week in and week out. Learn from the best and learn from your own experience with the AIM-FOR APP.

HOME
From the Home screen you have two options
You can click the button to, create, update, and delete calendar entries for a:
· Performance
· Event
· Goal
· Task
An entry will consist of a minimum time span of three days which will be created as a “Basic” entry that has one day preparation, one day performing and one day reflecting. For more flexibility including performance timings, choose “Advanced” where more than one day can be selected for each step.
All entries will be displayed at the top of the Home screen highlighting information about the event and counting down until you must start preparing. The entries will always be listed with the closest entry first.

Once an entry has been made it can be edited should some of the details change. You can make notes throughout any time period of the entry, for instance something to remember in your performance e.g., concentrate on rhythmic running in a race or remembering to focus on a particular weakness of your next sporting opponent.

You can also catch up with the latest news in sports performance and find Aim-For suggested links, articles, and videos about how to make performance improvements. These can be set as favourites so that you have quick and easy access to them.

WELLBEING
You can track and be reminded to track your Sleep, Mood, Exercise and Diet levels to give insight as to why you might be feeling a certain way.

MINDSET
You can complete a Mindset test to see where you may need help to Master your mindset and Grow your game. This uses the underlying performance and well-being model created by Lee Richardson, Liverpool FC psychologist. Finally, you can check your personality to find out relevant information and what you can do to develop better relationships with others around you.
