Your Daily app has become the Guardian Editions app. It now includes multiple Editions - alongside the UK Daily (your existing Edition which will not change), you will now be able to access Australia Weekend, a weekly summary of the best journalism from Guardian Australia.

In this version we've made the following changes:

- We've fixed the missing standfirst text on our Gallery and Long Read templates
- We've addressed one potential source of crashing when entering an article
- We've improved the styling of most bullet pointed text
- We’ve made it easier to join in with beta testing by adding a menu in our settings

• We have redesigned the section titles and progress indicators to better signpost content
• We have worked hard to improve the performance of the app particularly when scrolling

Thanks to your feedback we’ve identified and worked on a number of bugs:

• You should no longer receive repeated prompts to sign in
• Retrieving downloaded issues when offline should be more reliable
• Improved the captioning of images on iPads

In this release the team have been working hard on the areas that have generated the most feedback from both our beta testers and AppStore users.

This version contains the following changes and improvements:

• You can now navigate straight to any section within the edition via the "Recent Editions" menu
• You now have access to up to 30 days worth of editions via the "Manage Editions" menu
• You may now restrict background downloading of the edition to when you have a WiFi connection
• Background downloading should be more reliable
• We fixed a problem when deleting all issues did not remove all issue data
• The offline banner should no longer show when you are actually online

Based on your feedback we are still working on a number of issues and features, including:

• Resolving reported issues with sign-in and subscriptions
• Increasing the number of stories visible on each screen
• Restoring full screen galleries
• Improving the look and feel of crosswords

This version contains the following changes and improvements:

• Article navigation - you may now swipe directly between articles in different sections, eg swiping from the last article in 'National', will take you to the first article in 'World'.
• Resolves an issue with AppStore subscriptions for some users when the device was offline.
• Weather - this may now be set to use your device location, or disabled entirely from the Settings menu. If enabled, your weather location will be updated hourly.
• Social sharing - share should now be available on a greater proportion of articles than previously.
• Offline reading - we hope this version will significantly improve the offline reading experience, including ensuring images for downloaded editions are visible offline.
• Scheduled download - this version should solve many issues that prevented some users from having the latest edition download automatically.
• Manage editions - you are now able to delete all downloaded editions from your device, scroll to the end of the 'Recent Editions' list to access this function.
• Setter names for Cryptic and Quiptic crosswords will now be shown.
• The offline banner notification should no longer be shown when you are online.

There are some known issues with our new functionality in this version that we're still working on.

The main issues are:

• The new manage editions function is not yet available via the Settings menu.

Based on your feedback we are still working on a number of issues and features, including:

• Extending the number of editions available in the archive.
