　木城町は自然あふれる町です。緑の中の静かな環境で絵本を楽しめる「木城えほんの郷」、アウトドアの遊びを体験できる「川原自然公園」など、インドア派、アウトドア派の方でも楽しめる観光スポットがあります。

　また木城町は、戦国時代に大きな戦いが２度あった場所です。このほか「孤児の父」石井十次が児童救済のため孤児院を設立し、「文豪」武者小路実篤が理想郷を求め「新しき村」を設立するなど、歴史のある町でもあります。
