The news of an older couple at the grocery store parking lot, almost in tears, afraid to go in, and was helped by a young woman who took their shopping list/cash through a barely opened window, and placed the ordered items in their trunk, was an inspiration. Curbside pickup could be re-imangined as windows closed, trunk pickup, facilitated by orders based communication through the 8pack User app and the 8pack Store app. .

This is a Good Samaritan project to help our community survive these challenging times through re-imaging how local businesses could implement more contactless procedures. Communities are experiencing large numbers of local businesses going out of business due to consumer and staff health fears. The 8pack Store app could be a tool to facilitate a purchase process that helps reduce the exposure risk to consumers and front line employees, while increasing efficiency and sales for the local businesses.
