سابقاً كان يقتصر التواصل بين الأهل والمدرسة على الطرق التقليدية والبسيطة التي تستهلك وقت وجهد الطرفين، وكذلك القيام بإدارة المدرسة بكل مفاصلها يحتاج الى جهد كبير من القائمين عليها، ونظراً لأهمية دور المدرسة في حياتنا وحياة أبنائنا ومع التطور الحاصل في مجال التكنولوجيا أصبح من الضروري إيجاد أليات مرنة تسهّل إدارة هذه العملية بأطرافها الأربعة الأساسية (إدارة المدرسة – أولياء الأمور- الطلاب – المدرسين). تم إنجاز (نظام آدم لإدارة المنشأت التعليمية) ليكون طرفاً أساسياً في إدارة هذه المنشأت مراعياً كافة المفاصل لخدمة العملية التعليمية وأخذاً بعين الإعتبار توفير الوقت والجهد والمال للجميع.
